And so - the final day before les grand vacances.
Up and out early; a punishing schedule to get through - Drumbrae and Craigmillar in the morning to get done before an 1130 RV in Leith with AOB. Sheesh... In any event, the EH16 got pulled so I rested easy and rolled around the rest of them on what was a pleasant morning. Still felt odd with the start / end point being EH3 not EH5, but hey...

Then WFH for the afternoon; a 5 hour slog to get all the reports written; the e mails sent, the phone calls made.

But at 1805 - done! Out with an almost frozen bottle of chardonnay to the Meadows (along with beetroot and sesame dip and carrot batons) and we sat for a couple of hours in the sun before retiring homeward for transfer booking, falafel wraps and Better Call Saul.

The real work starts in the morning....
