A perfect day

Could today have been more lovely?  No, I don't think so.  I met up with C, otherwise known as Connections, in the lovely little town of La Connor just north of here.  We've been talking about meeting there for some time, but today we finally did it.  We went to the wonderful Museum of Northwest Art and saw a number of works from their permanent collection, as well as work by Lilli Mathews that was very impressionistic, and some interesting 3-dimensional works by Steve Jensen who creates boat-like vessels, evoking "Art as Voyage".  We were both very taken with his work.  Then off to lunch and talking and talking, walking and talking, shopping and talking and then it was time to head home.  Just wonderful.  And here is a quote given to me by C a number of years ago:
