Cakes and party

First day of the hols today and a nice relaxed morning at home, much needed after being so busy.

We ventured out into Newbury to do some party shopping, and cake bits and ended up having lunch before heading back. R had a long afternoon nap while C and I baked his b'day cake. Stage 1 complete, goodness knows how the decorating will go!

A rare and very lovely night out with the girls in town tonight to belatedly celebrate my 40th, nice food, good company and great chat - must do it more often!!
