Self-seeded Sunflower
There's a surprise for the gardener today! The seed fell from the feeder and onto the strawberry and veggie bed when I was not looking. And now it's open! I have not even been aware it was thriving. It's a black seed sunflower so the blossom is not huge but good enough for the finches. And the deer have not found it (yet).
86ºF sunny-- and really a nice summer day.
