Misapprehension

I recently re-read the book Leadville by Edward Platt, thinking that my new job had located me very close to the area it describes, and looking forward to seeing how it now compares with when the book was written, about 20 years ago. But I realised today, that, whereas the book was written about the A40 Western Avenue, my office is located very close to the A4 Great West Road, a couple of miles south. Easy mistake I guess!

Enjoyed the book again though.
