May hill Selfie

Pete and I after a climb up to the top of May Hill. Glorious views from up here - apparently you can see 7 counties! We chose the hottest day of the year, so far, to climb up a hill!!!
On the way through the farm we said hello to Jimi the Alpaca (in the extra photos), some of the longhorn cattle, plus calves, and Jack the horse who thinks he's a cow!
In the afternoon we went along to Monmouth, just over the border into Wales, but I had a terrible pain attack, and it ended up with me pretending to be a drunk, laying down on a bench whilst waiting the strong pain meds to work (which thankfully they did - didn't fancy another trip to A&E).
