I'm a Big Boy Now

A half day at work which involved a visit to the allotment. I wasn't really fully there but I think I got away with it.

Along to pick Mum up and then into the hospital. Grandma was sleeping when we arrived. We woke her and within seconds she was asleep again. The doctor came and took us into a room. The long and short of it is that they can't and don't want to do anything else, test wise as it is distressing her and not worth it. It is basically old age and her body is just shutting down, organ by organ. All they can do is make her comfortable.
We went back into see her and she was still sleeping. She stirred a few times looking to be in pain then went back to sleep. We stayed for an hour then left.
There are more decisions to make, re going back to the care home; are they equipped to care for her and if they can't where does she go?

We then went along to Steven and Kelly's where this little man doesn't have a clue his grandma is so ill and he won't remember her. That makes me very sad.

He is very proud of not being in the high chair now!
We let them both go along to the hospital and I bathed Lewis and popped him into bed.
