Departed

I visited my father's grave today. I don't go very often as it is quite far away from where I live but thought I would mark it today with a blip of the gravestone. I never knew my grandfather who is also buried there. In retrospect I didn't know my father that well either. His legacy was to make me feel second best and it is only know that I think I no longer feel everyone else is faster, cleverer, prettier than me. In the words of the song, I am what I am, and that is just fine by me.
