Oblivious to the camera

This is my cousin, Colin, who is over from USA for a couple of weeks. He got tickets for Olympics. Strangely enough he has never heard of blip but has now been blipped twice in as many days. Fellow blipper MonkeywithaView captured him yesterday.

Even though I had my camera on the tripod right in front of him he didn't realise I was taking photos. Now does that mean that Colin is totally unobservant OR is it a reflection of my "putting my subjects at ease" routine? I'm hoping it is the latter, because Colin has tickets for the Archery tomorrow and I wouldn't want him wandering in to the line of fire!

Anyway, he is jolly good company. He is sports mad and can't seem to sit down when he is watching sport on the TV..... he stands right in front of the TV like a little toddler. Very amusing. Some light relief after a busy day at work.

Thrilled that Team GB have won us a couple of gold medals today!!

p.s My eye is still a bit dodgy but getting better slowly
