The Hamnavoe (Day 438)
I woke fairly early, and busied myself getting organised for an appointment in town. Back home, I borrowed one of my beautiful wife's hands to help making the final connections on the loo and basin. I am pretty surprised I've managed to fit them one handed, but apparently necessity really is the mother of invention.
After lunch we headed across to Stromness for a walk along the shore, which was lovely in the warm sunshine. As we wandered back to the car, the Hamavoe, was just rounding the Kame of Hoy, ferrying people from Scotland to Stromness.
Once home, we did a few bits of housework to get the house ready for the arrival of Luke and Ren. Today has been a good day. Tomorrow looks like it could be even better.
