Christian Dior Museum, Granville, Normandy

This was the house of Christian Dior's parents until 1929.  Its grounds were made a public garden in 1938, the house became a museum in 1997.

It is well worth a visit whether or not you have an interest in haute couture. The large garden with its many roses provides stunning views over the bay of Mont St Michel.
