Midday after the hottest day

Hard to get a shot that does today's weather justice but i had my car lights on at 9.00am as I drove through a monsoon with rain battering up of the road surface and thunder and lightening split the skies. This is at midday when things had calmed down but its very odd seeing a sky with these colours at this time of year
