McDonalds, Roman style....

A half day trip to Herculaneum today to see the ruins that were buried when Mt Vesuvius erupted. Quite interesting , even the kids didn't moan too much which made a change. Mrs F wanted me to phone home to remind them to water her plants until we heard that it has been thunder and lightning and torrential rain this morning. Presume that will be the winter barley flattened then!
