Escapade in Ardèche

We drove to the Ardèche to see a good friend of ours whose extended family lives there. We had a short walk in the morning followed by a long meal in their cool shaded terrace - when we were joined by other friends and family members - before returning to the mad furnace of the Rhone Valley.
