Sally Mair - Loving life

Newhall garden

Took up a suggestion by Nadinepierce to visit Newhall today. Managed to spend the afternoon there in sunshine after the morning storms and vsn highly recommend it. Spotted this piece of lichen lying on the path on the way into the walked garden. A couple of extras from our visit too. A lily and some cute stone elephants by the main house on the way in! Beautiful woodland walks, a walked garden, a pond. Lots too see and quite charming.
The garden is only open in July, so is open again next Wednesday afternoon as part of Scotland's garden scheme. Just before Carlops on the A702 and open from 2-4pm. Some plants from the garden for sale too.
