Memorial plaque to Thomas Wakefield

I've often looked at this plaque to good old Tom Wakefield who amongst many great historical events was alive when the Marie Rose sank.  The plaque is in All Saints' Church, Castle Camps.

It was clearly carved by a very skilled mason who I guess must have been illiterate.
