The New Bed

Yesterday, the new canopy bed for the Guest House was delivered, and today the mattress and box spring arrived.  Now we have a fully functional bedroom for visitors ... with one minor exception. 

I had planned on using the (very expensive) down duvet that we used to have in our motor home for this room, but when I retrieved it from storage this morning I was horrified to find that mice had chewed through the protective case surrounding the duvet, and had clearly had quite a lively time with it!  Out in the rubbish it went, and a new (very expensive) duvet has been ordered.
