Masterclass....

What a fabulous day I had today. Out with my pals Robert & Finola of Roaringwater Journal fame. We bagged three and a half holy wells, one stone circle, one colossal rock covered in art, a derelict lodge house and enjoyed toasted sandwiches and large ice creams at the Michael Collins café before going on to look at the spot where the Big Man met this maker.

The above holy well was particularly adventurous and off grid. The unsuspecting landowner, E, kindly offered to take us explaining it was a little overgrown. Having at first stared at us in amazement she joined in enthusiastically. Strangely this well, dedicated to the BVM, gets few visitors.
