Local wildlife

The official island animal seems to be the lizard and we spotted this little fellow today in Mahon. They are very elusive - I missed getting a photo of an emerald green one the other day ! Visited the Gin Factory today - more just a shop but Minorca is famous for its amazing gin! The ones to taste were all a bit too much like liqueurs for me ..... I prefer it clean and clear I think :)
