I got the camera back! Decided to go out for a walk and really see what it was capable of, I must say I'm quite pleased with the result.

There are a number of reasons this is backblipped.

Firstly, Dad thought my USB cable would fit his camera which it doesn't so I didn't get the cable until Monday.

I didn't get home until 11pm on Monday and was too tired to do anything about it.

On Tuesday I went and took some more pictures, came home, plugged the camera in, imported the images and then realised the camera was set to RAW which my computer/blip/my version of GIMP doesn't support.

I took the CD that would comvert the files to JPEG out of the camera bag and put it 'somewhere'. When I was still trying to find it again at 11.30pm I gave up and went to bed.

So, here is my first effort at a RAW image on manual settings!
