storm approaching

It was a lovely start to the morning but with storms forecast I thought it sensible to get my exercise at the gym rather than outdoors. Also I could stop at Skelwith Bridge on the way and take a photo of the phone box before the surrounding flowers are cut down.

Photos were taken to the sound of distant thunder then I turned around and noticed the strange light and dark sky so took a few more shots before driving in that direction and into the rain.

The gym session was cut short because the fire alarm went off (lightning strike perhaps) so I decided not to resume the workout and returned home. More clearing in the loft ……… bakeware I won’t use again, camp chairs that aren’t ours, mirrors and a box of Jane’s lecture notes and handouts from university!
