A morning trip into Amboise town with my mum to visit the chateau (the rest of my family have  a strict one day-on, one day-off policy when it come to chateaus!) and pick up some patisseries on the way home.

Afternoon trip out just the four of us to a place called Family Park, basically a place with loads of rides and slides and stuff for the kids whilst the grown-ups wander around, sit in the shade/sun as required and spend as much time as feasibly possibly over a coffee and a crepe in the open-air cafe. It was all rather fun and very relaxing, picture taken here from the top of the big wheel.
