A slow start; but then off out with the boys to visit the grand parents; house sales seem to have hit the buffers in the wake of Brexit; so we had a lunch of burgers and rolls (both home made) and then strawberry tarts as made by - well - everyone had a hand in them, I think!
Coffee and chat and rain so they played, the grown ups chatted.

And then homewards; for turkey stir fry and stories. Alex is determined we finish Roald Dahl's Matilda. His teacher was reading it but as he missed the last week of school , he wanted to read the ending. So we did. Then TDF highlights after Tom went to bed (although just as he went, Amazon dropped his books off - 11 hours from order to the door.)
