Summer!

Today was the perfect Summer's day. Everyone seemed brighter, happier.

Despite this day marking a sad anniversary, three amazing things happened. My boss suggested having our meeting outside (I'm usually the one saying 'Can we please go outside?' when people would rather stay indoors.) I collect two pound coins and I received a record five two pound coins in change. And then there was an ice cream van at two bottom of my street - dream come true! Ice cream was made for days like this.

This is not a great photograph but I was struck by the way he was looking at her; so interested, so attentive. Swoon...
