One of the first things visitors to my home notice is the five foot high media cabinet packed top to bottom with CDs. It glowers over my living room, mute but pregnant with sound.
I have been a keen music fan since my teens. Yes, I have my own tastes, but then, don't we all? The odd thing is, those once prized CDs now spend much of their time gathering dust, while I chase digital music: insubstantial, near infinite and instant gratification...
