yup - it's my birthday today - and a dear friend took me out to lunch - then before the rains came - she was very accommodating by agreeing to - take me by one of my favorite little gardens so i could get - some camera time in with nature - and nature was highly cooperative by bringing forth several butterflies - for me to engage with - they have been rather scarce this summer - why, i am not sure - but when i set eyes on this tiny gem - i prayed she would be patient enough for - me to click off several shots - sure thing it worked out that way - i couldn't have asked for a better birthday present - it was all planned out - i merely had to show up - isn't that the best ever? - it's times like this that makes it...
