No Squirrels

Day off today as J is away till Thursday. Got up and headed to Devilla Forrest near Kincardine to have a look around. They have a red squirrel walk and I wanted to see if I could get any photos of them. This was the only squirrel we managed to see unfortunately. Did a nice 5 mile walk and Kilda behaved herself until we stopped for lunch just before heading back. She was running around and decided to go into the pond we stopped at. The sides were muddy and she sank up to her belly before getting herself out. She then ran around like a loon as I think she scared herself. Came back and while Kilda slept I managed to get the shed painted. DR came over after dinner and we headed up to St Andrews square for a few drinks. The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues festival is on there at the moment. Nice atmosphere and good to catch up with RD and hear about his holiday. Looks like summer has finally arrived for a few days in Scotland.
