Eric Shoots the Harvest

I was driving my usual weekly country drive when I spotted the wheat harvester. Then, I saw the photographer. I figured...if he is out in the field...maybe I could be, too.

Why was he shooting it? Because his 7 year old daughter was riding in the cab. Sweet. Eric and his family (from Orlando, Florida) were visiting family nearby, and his father used to work for this farmer.

He also was shooting the harvesting process with a Phantom drone, and I hope to go to You-tube later to see those.

I'm always amazed at the size of some of the farm machinery. I added a few photos on my Flickr page of the harvester unloading the wheat into a big semi-truck, and the harvester dwarfs the truck.
