Tuesday: Storm Brewing?

A scorching hot day, 34°C by late afternoon.
I've been out all day. Cutting more red currants back early morning, then cutting the large ox-eye daisies back before they make a mess when the rain comes. Also made time to sit and read in the shade, far too hot to be sitting in full sun.
By early evening the clouds started gathering, after clear blue sky all day. I saw a swift, I've been watching the skies for weeks, always glad to see them.
There was a huge cloud of black headed gulls flying around, I think they were eating flies!
Temperature has now dropped to 25°C it's 9pm and sky looks ominous ...
