Awake at 0450 in the lock to 0520 at sea 10 minutes later.
Very little wind but it was from the right direction so ran the engine on a fast tick over and sailed back to Heybridge in 6 and a half hours for 33nm.
Very hot, the wind suddenly appeared in the last mile but by that time all the white flappy things were stowed away.
