Dolphin Watch
Summer did finally arrive today and so we went to Chanonry Point at Rosemarkie ( Black Isle peninsula) which was nice but smothered with people. There were about 12 dolphins feeding and providing great photo opportunities for the gathered spectators. In the background and across the water Fort George, an 18th century fortified garrison and working army barracks can be seen on close inspection. The dolphins remained much cooler than us today. Still, heavy rain is forecast for later on so everything will return to normal quite soon.
