Lily pads

It was a very warm and rather muggy day today.  I work in an eco-friendly building - ie no air conditioning, and the ventilation system is insufficient for these temperatures, particularly on the south side of the building.  Fortunately I work on the north side, so I wasn't too uncomfortable.

I didn't have a lot of energy to search for a photograph though, but I found time for a quick stroll up to the lake in the school grounds.  The water lilies are not yet in bloom, and much of the lake has been taken over by tall grasses growing out of the water. The reflected grasses provided a backdrop to the lily pads.
