Summer sizzler!

What a stunning day of wall to wall sunshine! It's been a scorcher in the classroom, the children have melted their way through the day. We played a game of sleeping lions after play time to cool down - they didn't move for 40 minutes and one lad fell sound asleep!! I have also painted 90% of the classes nails in a variety of colours and patterns, with glitter on the top. We are all wearing exciting nails for a teacher who is working in another school to prove standards :-)

The temperature at the beach this evening was perfect - just beautiful. I love this coastline and have been lucky enough to live by it, see it in all weathers and embrace it regardless. I'm definitely going to be coming back for more as and when I can :-)
