Garden birds

So there I was, quietly minding my own business, watering the garden and dreaming my mindless daydreams.......when I was rudely shocked into the here and now by a VERY loud squawking! This very large gull was actually laughing at me from my neighbours roof. He really did make me jump!

But he did pose nicely when I got the camera out.
