Buddhist celebration at Thai temple
Today was a major Theravada Buddhist celebration. It is called Asalaha Bucha. So I went to the Thai temple at Siam Square to attend the celebrations. I had a fresh lotus, three incense sticks and a yellow candle in my joined hands while making three circumambulations with other people.
Interestingly, this ceremonial altar has a golden tree of life above the statue of a white sitting Buddha.
