A walk at the Glen

A day of sunshine at last.   Went for a walk from the House down to Loch Eddy where the outlook was very beautiful and tranquil.   All was quiet, so took a seat on the boathouse verandah for a drink of water.   No sooner then, arrived a Land Rover with Lady Glenconner, her son, Christopher, and who I assume was a granddaughter.   She announced that the second Land Rover was on its way up with the picnic, but pressed me to stay a while.    Of course, I didn't and after a few pleasant words about Loch Eddy and its fishing with the Hon Christopher, I went on my way.

Extras:   A memorial in glass to her other two sons, Charles and Henry who died young.
The big hoose!
