Morning Coffee in Libourne

After a fairly long but scenic run on Sunday, we spent the night in Libourne in the Gironde. Had meal in the square around 11 p.m. Pleasantly warm after the searing heat of Córdoba.

Good trip up to Caen for the ferry and back at Jode and Aafke's flat just before midnight. Apparently it's going to be hottest day of summer here in London tomorrow. Must, must not complain. Will soon be back in cloudy North-east Scotland

Jode and I listened to one of the Shetland series of books by Anne Cleeves on journey through Spain. It was an odd contrast to the Spanish heat and landscape - surreal!
