Monday: Office View

So I have survived my first day in the new job today but, then again, I do have the luxury of a week's handover with my predecessor. He picked me up this morning and we spent the day going through lots of things. This is the view from my new office.

The new team seem very nice. This evening, K. and I went out for a quick bite to eat with my predecessor, his wife and their 11 year old daughter.

And, very excitingly, we were on the deck this evening and we heard snuffling and rustling in the bushes. What should emerge, but a skunk! We kept our distance.......
