Check-up

Off to the cardiac unit this morning to check that the pace maker is doing what it should do. They were very pleased with pa-in-law, it's working well and will see him again in 3 months. Hubby had the job of pushing - although larking about here going down the ramp - it wasn't as funny going back up!

Pa-in-law back at the care home and then we went home for lunch. With all the weekend working he has done, hubby decided to take the whole day off rather than just a half day. Half day leave for me so back to work in the afternoon. My work today involved telling someone that the care home she has been living in for just over a year, is closing and she needs to move on. This seems to be happening more nowadays, no one would like being made to move, much harder for those who are elderly and frail and/or have a sensory need. She took it very well.

Lace this evening - good chat and giggle followed by a quiz on "food and drink".
