Telegraph Pole

We tend to still refer to these poles as "telegraph" poles, but I think possibly it's more accurate to call them "utility" poles these days.  Our MM theme this week is communication, and a utility pole is a post used to support overhead power lines and various other public utilities such as cable or power lines.   They can also be referred to as a transmission poles, telephone poles, telecommunication poles, power poles or  hydro poles  -  all depending on their applications.

I know by now that you must be losing the will to live  (me too), but I trust this fits the bill for the MM challenge. :-))
