Entertaining

JJ swung the vacuum cleaner around this morning so I set to on the ironing.  Still a bit to do, but too darn hot.

This afternoon I entertained a couple of old friends and we had iced lemon and lime with a bowl of cherries and caught up on holidays taken and ones to come.

There's a dead juvenile green woodpecker on the mound at the front.  I suspect a cat as a sparrowhawk would only have left feathers.

PS.  I'VE GOT THUNDERFLIES WALKING AROUND INSIDE MY MONITOR.  GRRRRR.....
