Cornflower

Yesterday was very warm and today is even warmer.  Yesterday, despite the fact that I said I did not do very much, I actually walked about five miles, mainly to exercise my left Achilles tendon.  Today, I again have not done very much except read, although already (mid-afternoon) I have walked some six miles, because of a visit to the doctor’s surgery this morning and a walk down our lane to the quarry some quarter-mile away this afternoon.  Again pictures needed to be taken very locally, so this time the Cornflower was photographed in a location about five or six metres to the left of the quarry entrance.
