Poppy.

Due  to head back down to Cumbria this afternoon we popped round to  Katkatkat's garden as there were a lot of bags of weeds etc to remove.  A difficult task for her as she has no car.  So we admired yesterdays progress,met another of the "allotment" holders and then headed for the recycling centre.

Being conscious that I wouldn't have much chance for photography I looked for the prettiest weed I could find.  Fortunately there are a few plots still not allocated.  In the middle of a big clump of weeds stood this single poppy.

The trip home after lunch was uneventful.  Our usual pause at Annandale Water left me wondering at the parking habits of some drivers.  The car driver who managed to take up 2 spaces reserved for caravans by parking with part of the car in both blocks.  Also the caravan driver who took up 8 car spaces while there were still caravan spaces available.
