Photo to reassure the daughters

When I looked for HH in the emergency section this morning I found he had already been moved to a room. Better yet, the surgeon came along and said that they don’t intend to operated just yet, if at all, and think they problem may sort itself out. He’s hooked up to a couple of drips, though, and on a zero diet, so fairly immobile but otherwise comfortable.
 

We weren’t sure what and when to tell our daughters, but I did fill them in a bit yesterday. They took it pretty calmly, but it all became a lot easier once we knew an op could probably be avoided. We sent them a photo to prove that he's OK.
