Bounty!

I've been worried for weeks about the spuds, thinking they have the blight. It doesn't help that our soil is very clay-ey and heavy, which is not exactly prescribed for spuds. So I was really pleased today when I dug up a few plants and found these beauties. They are small, but see the comment above about heavy soil. More importantly, they are insanely delicious. Un-flippin'-real. A true bounty.

This is the end of a week of forcing myself to use only manual settings on my camera. They are not super exciting photos, subject-wise, but I'm pleased with them all, as they capture perfectly the scene I was photographing. So I'm just going to stick with that resolution from now on.
