Two Turtle Photos

The man who owns Franklin says he is 60 years old and weighs 400 lbs.  He has 17 turtles, 200 snakes, and many cats, and dogs.  This turtle and the others he has are desert turtles and live entirely on land.  When he has them out like this, he asks for a donation for care and the rescue of additional animals.  I hope the presence of people in both shots offer perspective of how large Franklin is.  He said if anyone wanted to kiss the turtle, they could sit on him.  He let several children sit on him without kissing him.  When I asked how he got him back into the transport trailer, he said Franklin walks up the ramp.
