Spending a well-earned Sunday off building an old Hasegawa model kit of one of my favourite jet aircraft, the iconic English Electric Lightning.

I bought this particular and remarkable kit second-hand, which dates from 1968, when this particular aircraft was still in service with the Royal Air Force as a front-line interceptor.
