Wheat or Barley?

It is important to know. One will become bread and the other beer.

C wanted to take pictures to use in directions for a Coffee Mates walk to ours. As we had to go all the way to Holbrook to photograph the relevant points we went to the Compasses for lunch. Good as always.

Very  warm. A bit windy at times.

A young hare meandered into the garden while we were sitting outside cooling off after the bike ride. He ate a little grass (actually quite a lot), strolled around a little and lied down for a bit. It was a nice change from the hundereds of rabbits that regularly invade the garden, eat the plants and dig test holes to China.
