Bumper Crop!

Day of chickens, allotment and friend! Started early with friends chickens then all morning on the plot doing bits and playing with chickens! Collected these gooseberries from the chickens plot - I just kept finding more! I used my new butane stove and made toast - but forgot my toasting fork so laid the bread on my small garden fork and toasted it above the flames! Felt ideal to sit in the sun with toast and marmite and a cup of Rhubarb tea!
Got home and Vegan Jo called in - we chatted, went to the village cafe, ate and chatted, went to the Ice-cream parlour and had ice cream on their balcony by the river and watched the Muscovy ducks preening themselves and a whole load of people in canoes mucking about on the river! 
Evening spent watering plants on the allotment and then closing chickens there and on to friends and her chickens and dropped some plants to Party Girls partner - we had a cup of tea and chatted!
What a fun day!
