Kookaburra

Managed to capture one of these beautiful birds yesterday on a walk near my sister's home.....how wonderful to see such an unusual bird for me like this!

Uploading this early because we are heading for the Blue Mountains this morning so it will be a very long day...

Today is the second anniversary of my Mom's passing...I can hardly believe that it has been two years.....it still seems unreal.....
